Shipping Types

When requesting a shipment through our ship endpoint, you can select the required service based on the shipping types configuration.

Shipping types are our internal codes that maps to a different logistics service. Each shipping type has a modality associated to it.

There are four modalities:

• express: our on demand delivery service.
• same_day: the pickup and deliver is done during the day of the request.
• next_day: the pickup is done the day of the request but the deliver is done the next day of the request.
• groceries: optimised for grocery and fresh-food deliveries.

The same shipping type keeps its id everywhere; what changes from one region
to another is whether it is active for your account there.

You can check which shipping types are available to your account by checking /v1/shipping_types/available. If you miss a shipping type or the available ones don't suit your needs, please contact Cabify for support.
