Parcel Tracker

The Parcel Tracker is a web application designed for recipients to follow their deliveries in real time. It provides a visual, mobile-friendly experience where the recipient can see everything they need to know about their incoming parcel.

What recipients see

The Parcel Tracker shows:

• Current status of the parcel (e.g., on route, delivering, delivered).
• Live driver location on a map when a driver is actively carrying the parcel.
• Estimated delivery time so the recipient knows when to expect the parcel.
• Driver and vehicle details when assigned.

How recipients access it

Each parcel gets a unique tracking URL when it is shipped. The URL follows this format:

https://logistics.follow.cabify.com/<tracking-id>

Recipients receive this link in two ways:

• SMS notification: The platform sends an SMS to the recipient's phone number with the tracking link. This can be disabled if you prefer to handle notifications yourself.
• API response: The tracking URL is returned in the ship response and in parcel status queries, so you can share it with your recipients through your own channels (email, in-app notification, order page, etc.).

How to check the tracking link of a parcel

To check the tracking link of a parcel you can use the Parcel status endpoint.

The response will include the tracking link in the tracking_url field.

You can also use the Cabify Logistics DMS to check the tracking link of a parcel.
