Introduction to Cabify Ride Hailing API
Welcome to the Cabify Ride-Hailing API! Our API enables developers to integrate seamless ride-hailing capabilities into their applications, providing access to a reliable transportation network with a smooth booking experience.
Key Features:
- Users Management: Create, read, update, and disable users within your Cabify-integrated system.
- Pricing & Estimates – Obtain estimated prices and available products before requesting a journey.
- Journey Booking – Request and manage rides while selecting the appropriate product that fits your needs.
- Labels – Categorize journeys with project codes, cost centers, or journey motives for financial tracking and reporting.
- Sales – Get the sales (receipt) once a journey transitions to the terminated state, linking them to the requesting user (who may not necessarily be the rider).
- Webhooks - Receive real-time updates on Journey state changes and asynchronous tasks. Admin users set the endpoint URL themselves in the Integrations section of the Cabify web app.
Service Availability
Cabify operates within specific countries and cities, and for security reasons by default does not support requesting journeys from outside a country where we don't operate.
So, for example an API request from one country where we don't operate, let's say Italy, to book a journey in another where we operate like Spain, will give you an error like this:
{
"message": "user_group_checker.request_outside_country"
}Anyway, you can still make requests from a non-operating country to book rides in any of our supported one, but this feature must be enabled by contacting our support team.
For a list of available cities and countries where Cabify operates, please visit our Help Center.
