Main entities

The Cabify Logistics platform revolves around two core entities that you need to understand before interacting with the system.

• Parcel: The fundamental unit in our system. A parcel represents a physical package that needs to be picked up from a sender and delivered to a recipient.
• Shipping Type: A shipping type defines the logistics service used for a shipment, such as express, same-day, or next-day delivery.

How they relate

The relationship between these entities follows a simple hierarchy:

1. You create one or more Parcels with pickup and dropoff information.
2. You select a Shipping Type that determines the delivery modality (express, same-day, or next-day).
