Proofs of delivery

Cabify provides different proofs of delivery. The driver will be asked to fulfill the different proofs configured for you during the delivery.

We provide three different kinds of proof:

Identification

The driver will ask for the recipient for a name and ID.

Photo

The driver will take a photo during the delivery, including the parcel and the place where it was delivered.

Code

A four-digit code will be sent to the recipient. The recipient needs to provide this code to the driver to finish the delivery. If the code is not provided, the delivery will be not completed.

Warning

If the proof with code is enabled, is mandatory that the recipient gives the code to the driver. Cabify Logistics will try to send the code to the recipient via SMS but, taking into consideration that SMSs are not a reliable communication way, the delivery can fail. Cabify Logistics strongly recommends that check this process before implementing it. You can fetch this code via API and provide it to the recipient in a more reliable way.
